What curriculum will be used?
Project-based and TEKS aligned, focused on solidifying the foundations for literacy/phonics and math through interactive STEM curriculum.
Why choose private kindergarten?
We offer a smaller environment with familiar faces, highly personalized instruction and whole-child focus. We provide the academics of a kindergarten class, with the at-home feel of Mrs. Amy's Adventures.
Will your teacher be certified?
Yes, Ms. Blanden is certified with 13 years of experience in teaching and planning and supporting curriculum for a local school district.
Will you follow the local district academic calendar?
Our school closely follows the LHISD academic calendar, with the flexibility of having built in care on site during holiday breaks. Children will be in class from 8:00am - 3:00pm with before and after school care options available.
Do you use technology in the classroom?
Students will not use individual devices during classroom activities. Although certain lessons may include group technology experiences, such as watching extension videos as a class, all assignments and tasks will be completed using hands-on projects and individual workbooks.
Do you accept scholarships or other outside funding?
Yes, our school has been approved to receive TEFA funds, and we are partnered with Texas Rising Stars, which allows us to accept Child Care Scholarship funds from the state. More details can be found below:
