Infants

Forest Adventures

13 months - 24 months

The infant program is a great transition to a a more structured setting. Generally, this is the first time a child enters a classroom where there is an introduction to following directions, learning how to manage their feelings, and communicate with friends and teachers.

Our infant classroom implements ASL to help with communication, especially since this is the stage in life where they begin talking! ABC's, colors, letters and numbers are reviewed during morning circle time and teachers are trained in guided-play. While there is scheduled time for seated curriculum, the main focus is to help children learn appropriate social and play skills!
